    • March 7, 2005 – Fr. Marek Szczepaniak, MIC, appointed the Superior of the Roman House of the Congregation of Marian Fathers.
    • March 7, 2005 – Fr. Zbigniew Pilat, MIC, appointed the General Procurator of the Congregation of Marians.
    • March 7, 2005 - Fr. Zbigniew Pilat, MIC, appointed the Secretary General of the Congregation of Marians.
    • March 12, 2005 - Br. Andrew Maczynski, MIC, appointed the General Promoter of the Association of Marian Helpers for the Congregation of Marian Fathers.

    • May 9, 2005 - Suppression of the Portugal Vice Province of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary as of June 1, 2005, and installation instead of a General Vicariate of the same denomination.
    • May 9, 2005 - Prolongation of the term in office (not exceeding the date of December 31, 2006), based upon the dispensation of the Holy See of April 26, 2005, for the officials of the St. Stanislaus Kostka and St. Casimir Provinces – Provincial Superiors, Provincial Councilors, and Local Superiors – in order to complete the merger of the two Provinces.
    • May 9, 2005 - Approval of the financial reports and budget estimates of the following entities: Marian Historical Institute; Nyakinama (Rwanda); Atok (Cameroon); Adelaide (Australia); Divine Providence Province (Poland); St. Casimir Province (U.S.A.); St. Stanislaus Kostka Province (U.S.A.); St. Theresa of Infant Jesus Province (Latvia); St. George Province (Lithuania); Vicariate of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Ukraine).

    • June 10, 2005 - Fr. Andrzej Pakula, MIC appointed to be responsible for preparation of Blessed Stanislaus of Jesus and Mary Papczyński’s impending beatification.
    • June 11, 2005 - Fr. Joseph Roesch, MIC appointed the General Promoter of the Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy.
    • June 11, 2005 - Fr. Andrzej Szostek, MIC appointed Spiritual Assistant of the Marian Committee of Economics.
    • June 27, 2005 - Approval of the Postulator General’s budget estimate.

    • June 27, 2005 - Approval of the Portugal Vicariate’s Statutes.
    • June 28, 2005 - Appointment of the officials of the Portugal Vicariate Administration: Fr. Basileu dos Anjos Pires, MIC - Superior; Fr. Kazimierz Komor, MIC – 1st Councilor, Fr. Jovanete Paulo Vieira, MIC – 2nd Councilor.
    • June 28, 2005 - Validation of the minutes of the Second Session of the Provincial Chapter in Brazil.

    • July 22, 2005 - Permission to enter the novitiate in Nyakinama, Rwanda, granted to the following candidates: Alexandre Gasigwa, Denys Basile Uwingaviye, Dominique Iyamuremye, Jean-Baptiste Gahereri, Jean Bosco Ahishakiye, Joseph Muhindo, Lon Zwawe, and Yves Oumarou.
    • July 22, 2005 - Dispensation granted to Fr. Tadeusz Rogalewski, MIC to hold the office of the Local Superior in his third term.
    • July 22, 2005 - Approval of changes to the Polish Edition of the Marian Prayers proposed by Fr. Marian Pisarzak, MIC Chairman of the Liturgical Committee (in accordance with the Decree of the General Chapter of 2005).
    • September 14, 2005 - transfer of Brother Leonard Kunda from the Divine Providence Province to the St. Stanislaus Kostka Province.
    • September 14, 2005 - Prolongation of Fr. Ryszard Wojciechowski’s stay in the office of the House Superior in Brumov for the third term.
    • October 3, 2005 - nomination of Fr. Mark Garrow the General Prefect of Formation.
    • October 3, 2005 - convocation of the Formation Committee consisting of Fr. Mark Garrow – chairman, Fr. Pawel Naumowicz and Fr. Jair Batista de Souza – members.
    • October 3, 2005 - approval of the English-language version of the Marian Prayers presented by the Liturgical Committee.
    • October 4, 2005 - nomination of the governing body for the religious house in Atok, Cameroon: Fr. Krzysztof Pazio – House Superior and Local Treasurer, Fr. Franciszek Filipiec – I Councilor, Fr. Ryszard Gorowski – II Councilor.
    • October 4, 2005 - dispensation from §42 of the Provincial Statutes granted to Fr. Leandro Aparecido da Silva to make it possible for him to serve as the Novice Master.
    • October 28, 2005 - permission granted to the Portuguese Vicariate Superior, Fr. Basileu dos Anjos Pires for the alienation of a Marian property in Lisbon received as a gift from benefactors.
    • December 6, 2005 - installation of the Marian Residence in Kibeho, Rwanda.
    • December 6, 2005 - appointing of the governing body for the Religious House in Nyakinama, Rwanda: Fr. Andrzej Tokarczyk – Local Superior, Fr. Marek Cieben – I Councilor, Fr. Ryszard Kusy – II Councilor.
    • December 6, 2005 - nomination of Fr. Leszek Czelusniak the Rector of the Residence in Kibeho, Rwanda.
    • December 6, 2005 - nomination of Fr. Leszek Czelusniak the Mission Superior and Delegate of the Superior General for Rwanda.
    • December 6, 2005 - transfer of Fr. Andrzej Lach from the Divine Mercy Province to the Portuguese Vicariate.
    • February 25, 2006 - transfer of Fr. Ryszard Gorowski from Cameroon to the Roman House and his nomination as the Assistant to the General Promoter of the Missions.
    • February 27, 2006 - ratification of the financial report, economic standing, and budget of the following entities: St. Casimir Province, Portuguese Vicariate, Nyakinama House in Rwanda.
    • February 27, 2006 - approval of the Portuguese translation of the Marian Prayers presented by the Divine Mercy Province.
    • February 27, 2006 - transfer of Fr. Jonas Sakevicius from the St. George Province to the St. Casimir Province.
    • March 2, 2006 - ratification of the report on the finances and the budget of the following entities: the residence in Kibeho, Rwanda; the Mission in Cameroon; the residences in Adelaide and Melbourne, Australia; Ukrainian Vicariate; Brazilian Province; and also the General Promoter of the AMH.
    • April 29, 2006 - approval of the Portuguese translation of the Marian Prayers presented by the Portuguese Vicariate.
    • April 29, 2006 - permission for the adaptation of the Balsamao monastery to the needs of pilgrims and guests.
    • April 29, 2006 - ratification of plans for major repair work on the Balsamao Church.
    • on April 29, 2006 - the transfer of Fr. James Enin of the Ghanaian Catholic Mission in London to the U.S.
    • on April 29, 2006 - transfer of Fr. Andrzej Lach from the Portuguese Vicariate to the Divine Mercy Province in Brazil.
    • on April 29, 2006 - ratification of the financial report, economic standing and budget of the following entities: the Divine Providence Province, St. Stanislaus Kostka Province, as well as the General Postulator. Ratification of the General Curia budget and of the financial report of the Roman House.
    • on May 4, 2006 - the decision to purchase a lot in Ngoya, Cameroon, in view of possible construction of the formation house there.

  2. The Superior General’s decisions supported by the General Council’s consultative vote

    • August 3, 2005 - Decision to commission two images of Blessed Stanislaus of Jesus and Mary Papczyński to be painted in anticipation of his impending beatification.
    • August 3, 2005 - Financial assistance for repairs to the novitiate house in Barra Santa Salete, State of Paranà, in the amount of $20,000 (from the Provincial Formation Funds) granted to the Brazilian Province in response to request from the Administration of the same Province.
    • October 3, 2005 - convocation of the Committee in charge of preparations for the beatification of Father Founder, Blessed Stanislaus Papczyński.
    • December 5, 2005 - Nomination of Fr. Janusz Kumala as the person in charge of creating a program of preparations and celebrations of the 100th Anniversary of the Renewal of the Congregation.
    • December 5, 2005 - convocation of the Committee for the Charism of the Congregation, consisting of: Fr. Janusz Kumala – chairman and Frs. Mark Garrow, Marian Pisarzak, Basileu Pires dos Anjos, Eduardo Alvarez, and Jair Batista de Souza – members.
    • December 5, 2005 - prolongation of Fr. George Brianchaninoff’s stay in Australia.
    • on December 28, 2005 - placement of mosaic portraits of Father Founder and all Marian Blesseds in the Roman House Chapel.
    • February 25, 2006 - nomination of members of the Marian Institute of History and Spirituality: Fr. Janusz Kumala – chairman and Frs. Jan Bukowicz, Marek Ciebien, Pawel Chudzik, Kazimierz Krzyzanowski, Waclaw Makos, Basileu Pires dos Anjos, Marian Pisarzak, Tadeusz Rogalewski, Jonas Silva, Krzysztof Trojan, and Dn.     • April 2, 2005 - Validation of Fr. Jair Sousa Batista, MIC in the office of the Brazilian Province Superior, and Fr. Jozef Tomaszko, MIC – in the Provincial Vicar of the same Province.
    • April 12, 2005 - Validation of Fr. Pawel Naumowicz, MIC in the office of the Polish Province Superior and Fr. Eugeniusz Zarzeczny, MIC - the Provincial Vicar of the same Province.
    • April 15, 2005 - Validation of Fr. Vytautas Brilius, MIC in the office of the Lithuanian Provincial Superior.
    • April 23, 2005 - Validation of Fr. Tomas Miliauskas, MIC in the office of the Provincial Vicar of the Lithuanian Province (upon receipt of the dispensation of the Holy See).
    • June 1, 2005 - Validation of Fr. Pavils Zeila, MIC in the office of the Latvian Provincial Superior and Fr. Jazeps Sitnieks, MIC – the Provincial Vicar of the said Province.
    • June 2, 2005 - Permission granted to Fr. Z. Pilat, MIC the General Secretary, to conduct during the first term courses on Canon Law at the Marian Major Seminary in Lublin. This will entail three one-week trips to Lublin.
    • December 2005 - Nomination of Fr. Zdzislaw Zywica the spiritual director and confessor of the Marian novices in Rwanda.
    • December 12, 2005 - the agreement was signed between the Congregation of Marian Fathers and the Diocese of Ruhengeri in Rwanda regarding the Marians’ service in Nyakinama (parish and formation house).
